GTA V s First-Person Mode Is Pointless
However, before we all get too hyped-up about the presented possibility and despite Vern's track record, let's once again reiterate that this is by no means a confirmation -- the user himself has reiterated that in his post. Shall this rumor holds any merit and turns into reality, then that's obviously great. But in the meantime, it's for the best to just wait for the official announcement that GTAV is indeed coming to Nintendo Swi
It baffles me as to why Rockstar would even consider a first-person mode for gta 5 mods|https://gta5Play.com/ V. Perhaps it was the success of open-world shooters like Far Cry 3 that inspired them to do this, which is understandable. However, Far Cry 3 is a shooter. It’s built as a shooter and the shooting is a huge part of the game’s appeal. Sure, there’s exploration, but the action is Far Cry’s appeal by far. Grand Theft Auto V, for all its gritty action and violence, is not a shooter. Its action comes from something less primal and more intelligent. If anything, this first-person shooter setup does more to pander to the FPS crowd than to thoughtfully expand on what Grand Theft Auto has always been about.
The DLC timeline of GTA IV also suggests that GTA V could be in line for some story DLC of its own soon. GTA IV 's The Ballad of Gay Tony and Lost and Damned DLC packs were released less than a year and a half after the release of the core game - so if Rockstar is employing a similar release strategy, we'd better get our wallets re
Eduard Khil's 1976 rendition of an old song saw a viral resurgence in 2010, where it become known as the 'Trololol' meme for its ridiculous sound and video without context. Though the singer may no longer be with us, that one song is still played as an internet joke to this day. One game modder decided to replace one of the enemy NPC sounds in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. with the jovial music, which sounds like a simple change on the surface. However, anyone who watches the video from start to finish can tell you that when the players hear the monster's music coming, unsure of its direction and amidst the darkness, pants are sure to be filled. As the music gets louder and louder, we don't blame the YouTuber for running the opposite direction - the last thing someone ever hears shouldn't be the Trololol s
According to Rockstar Games (the publisher and developer of the Grand Theft Auto franchise), the size of Grand Theft Auto V 's map is bigger than Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas , Grand Theft Auto IV and Red Dead Redemption 's maps combined. But the picturesque Los Santos setting isn't all palm trees, mountains and the occasional flurry of snow ; GTA V is filled with a wealth of things to
Game Modifications are a wonderful thing. They help expand the longevity of games, and give gamers some original content to toy around with. However, sometimes these modifications go horribly awry - not like they meant to, but some of them end up being downright horrifying. In the spirit of Halloween, we thought it might be a good idea to compile some of these accidental Frankensteins for you, because we don't want you to sleep at night for some reason (you should play Five Night's At Freddy's after this article, it's really relaxi
But saying that this dimension is "a game-changer" is overzealous. The first-person perspective in Grand Theft Auto V constantly evokes an aura of novelty. It doesn’t fit in. Grand Theft Auto V, and the Grand Theft Auto series in general, was never built for first-person. Many of the actions benefit from a more peripheral viewpoint, as you can attackers easier and see a nearby getaway vehicle without fiddling around with the camera too much. Firefights are not the focus of GTA, nor are the driving segments. Grand Theft Auto’s appeal has always been the open-world. Moving around a city, launching off a ramp, shooting enemies, and making a clean getaway are not that valuable on their own, but the cohesion between these elements is what make GTA into what it is. The first-person perspective disjoints that synergy; it frames the firefights and vehicles as the most core elements, when they’ve only been pieces of a bigger puzzle.
"Been sitting on this cuz I'm not sure it's really worthy of a post (because I lack the most important details) but f it, why not...heard awhile back more from R is in development, from my most reliable source, but wouldn't confirm what or when. Essentially was told it shouldn't be a surprise what title it is. I personally fully expect a GTA title (whatever it may be) because it makes sense since you see everyone clamoring for it in every damn thread, and it's the biggest game on Earth. Now watch this post get turned into Youtube videos and GoNintendo news articles again, when I said nothing at all of actual substance. For real this is in no way confirming a GTAV port is coming, it's just my solid as f source giving me some info and my own educated guessing. Probably shouldn't have said anything because I have nothing, and in 6 months or a year when another R title gets announced I can claim I was right. So just ignore what I said somehow. I blew
